Here Come the heroes

My book, "Here Come the Heroes", will offer the reader a behind-the-scenes look into my journey and court battles fought against The SYSTEM in the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. What did I do? I stood up for myself. I represented myself. I felt I had been unlawfully arrested & unnecessarily beaten/assaulted.  I attempted to seek answer and remedy. I fought the SYSTEM in civil and criminal courts.

The criminal and civil side of the Canadian court system are intimidating environments very few people ever experience. As such, I felt as though my story could be cast into a very negative light. I did not want to risk being viewed as an angry individual- merely for trying to stand up for myself, for my guaranteed, Charter-protected rights.

Turns out it was all a charade. Their idea of a joke. A very bad joke. The trials were unfair. Bordering on fraud. Among the many transgressions on my rights, the court violated my 11(d.) right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty according to law, in a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal.

 Justice Barry Singer, the presiding judge, even admitted as much, during trial! 

Read, then unread, it for yourself. True story. Would I try and lie to you? It’s all there in the criminal transcripts vol. 1-3 (Hint: Page 480).

We have every right to represent ourselves in a court of law, among other rights. We were born with rights, all of us. As Canadians, these rights became explicitly Charter-Protected. It would appear we have become socially unaware of our human rights. We are mostly unaware of our Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Or, we have simply forgotten those rights, due in large part to the Mainstream (news-media) Mafia. 

 The mainstream-news-media-mafia distracts us, lies, misleads and peddles in untruths.

It is an integral part of the System.

As a Canadian (and self-represented litigant), it is disheartening to see just how easy it is for these public officials, including city and provincial judges, police and lawyers to cease playing by the rules. They seem unconcerned with repercussions or consequences.

To that end, I decided to write about the entire experience.
